Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Role | 2+ years of consult-liaison experience post-residency required. 

Are you a board-certified psychiatrist with consult-liaison expertise? Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations—all from the comfort of your home.

 About the Role: 

  • Setting: 100% Remote Consults for IP/ER/ED 

  • Compensation: W2 - $175/hr - robust pay structure (productivity-based to maximize earnings) 

    • 1099 options are available at $185 an hour 

  • Patient Population: All ages (5+ in ER settings preferred) 

  • Schedule: 13-16 shifts per month— weekends required but now only 1-2 shifts/month 

  • NP Supervision: Collaborate with highly trained Iris PMHNP

Qualifications: 

  • Active medical license, TX license or GA required and/or IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus. 

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry, open to considering extremely experienced PMHNPs  

  • Board Certification Required 

  • At least 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience. 

  • Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+ for ED/ER consults 

  • Comfortable working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels  

  • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
