A Remote Anime Graphic Designer is a creative professional who specializes in designing graphics, illustrations, and visual assets inspired by anime styles, while working from a location outside of a traditional office. These designers typically create character designs, backgrounds, promotional materials, and digital content for anime projects, games, or merchandise. They collaborate with clients or teams online, using various graphic design and illustration software. Remote Anime Graphic Designers must have a strong portfolio, an understanding of anime aesthetics, and the ability to meet deadlines while working independently.

Remote anime graphic designers often face challenges such as maintaining clear communication with clients and team members, managing feedback across different time zones, and staying inspired without in-person collaboration. To address these, it's helpful to establish regular virtual check-ins, use collaborative design platforms, and join online communities for creative exchange. Additionally, setting up a structured workflow and finding a dedicated workspace can help maintain productivity and creativity while working remotely.

Job description

POSITION TITLE: Graphic Design Specialist

LOCATION: Remote U.S.

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who We Are:
TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can see whatโ€™s happening in real patient populationsโ€”not guesses, not simulations.
Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.
We keep identifiable data where it belongsโ€”inside more than 11,000+ clinical sites across 20+ countriesโ€”preserving security, provenance, and granularity. Our trusted partnerships with providers ensure high-fidelity data, and a properly governed linkage back to individual patients.
At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human healthโ€”with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.

ย

Who We Are Looking For:ย

The Graphic Design Specialist is a key member of the TriNetX marketing team, responsible for bringing the TriNetX brand to life through high-quality production assets across digital, print, and motion. This role plays a critical part in translating brand strategy into tangible deliverables that strengthen brand presence and create a consistent experience across every audience touchpoint.

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Creative and working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Commercial, and other internal teams, this role handles the end-to-end production of brand assets and builds the scalable template systems and documentation that help the broader team and external freelancers self-serve. Beyond hands-on design, the Specialist helps safeguard brand integrity, streamline recurring creative work, and review freelance output to ensure everything produced meets TriNetX standards.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong production craft, a systems-minded approach to scaling design, and a collaborative style that balances creative ambition with practical deadlines.

What You Will Be Doing:ย

Asset Production (50%)

  • Design and animate motion graphics and video assets for social, web, product, and presentation use, from concept through final export.
  • Produce high-quality, on-brand visual assets across formats โ€” social media graphics, digital ads, printed collateral, webinar and conference materials, sales enablement pieces, and internal communications.
  • Prepare and hand off final files for print and digital production, ensuring correct specifications, color profiles, and formats.

Scalable Systems & Team Enablement (15%)

  • Build and maintain scalable template systems โ€” for presentations, social, collateral, and motion โ€” that allow the broader team and external freelancers to self-serve and produce consistent, on-brand materials.
  • Develop clear documentation, guardrails, and how-to resources that enable non-designers and freelancers to use brand assets correctly and independently.
  • Maintain and evolve brand asset libraries โ€” templates, icon sets, presentation decks, and reusable components โ€” so quality and consistency scale across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring design work, reducing turnaround time and freeing capacity for higher-value creative
ย
ย
ย

Brand Stewardship (25%)

  • Safeguard brand integrity by reviewing materials for consistency, flagging off-brand usage, and contributing to the ongoing refinement of brand guidelines.
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and motion/video techniques, bringing fresh ideas that elevate the brand's visual presence.

Collaboration & Project Management (10%)

  • Partner with the Director of Brand & Creative and cross-functional stakeholders to scope creative requests, interpret briefs, and deliver work on time and within brand standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing across competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

What You Bring toย TriNetX:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field โ€” or 3 years of practical graphic design experience.
  • Demonstrated experience producing motion graphics and editing video (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro); portfolio must be provided.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of brand systems and the ability to apply guidelines consistently across deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects against competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience building scalable template systems and self-serve resources that enable non-designers and freelancers to produce on-brand work.
  • Experience designing within a B2B, healthcare, life sciences, or technology SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with presentation design at scale (e.g., PowerPoint template systems).
  • Experience briefing, supporting, or reviewing the work of external freelancers or contractors.
  • Understanding of file preparation and production specifications for both print and digital output.
