This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining a strong connection with educational institutions in Anaheim, California. You will collaborate with a diverse team of educators, psychologists, and mental health professionals to ensure that our therapeutic approach is fully aligned with educational objectives and student welfare. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistency and structure for both you and your clients.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments through interviews and evaluations to identify strengths and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that set clear therapeutic goals and address emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide therapy sessions, incorporating modalities suitable for various age groups and mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment protocols in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure cohesive support for students, facilitating referrals and consultations as needed.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources and support strategies, empowering them with tools for self-regulation and coping skills.
• Stay current on the latest research and developments in therapeutic techniques and mental health issues relevant to your clients.

Your role will focus primarily on students in school settings, working closely with children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will help students cope with stressors related to academic pressures, peer relationships, and family dynamics, applying tailored interventions that foster resilience and adaptability. By providing a safe and supportive environment, you will play a crucial role in their personal development and academic success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients of varying backgrounds and ages.
• Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, allowing for swift and informed decision-making.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information effectively.

• While a minimum of two years of direct clinical experience is preferred, newly licensed social workers with a strong foundation in clinical theory and practice are encouraged to apply.
