How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of acute patient accounting features to replace or enhance existing application functionalities, ensuring alignment with current and future processes
  • Direct, develop, and present to management various analyses that include organization, systems, feasibility and cost/benefit studies, implementation plans.
  • Exercise judgment and influence on key technical decisions, standards, policies, environment selection, architecture, data flows and technical solutions.
  • Define and maintain assigned product vision, roadmap, lifecycle, and growth strategy. Identify opportunities for product conversion and innovation within the domain requirements.
  • Collaborates with vendor, market, and business leaders, informatics, and Ascension Technologies
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Experience with providing technical leadership for acute patient accounting, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and customers
  • Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for acute patient accounting, including design, and justifying technical recommendations
  • Experience with implementing and supporting acute patient accounting platforms/applications, preferably Invision or Cerner Millennium charge services/Cerner Patient Accounting
