Job description

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will lead and evolve Moneris' Marketing Analytics function to support growth, acquisition, retention, and customer engagement strategies. You will lead a team of Marketing Analytics professionals while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, and Finance stakeholders.

Leveraging data from digital marketing platforms, web analytics tools, measurement solutions, and enterprise data sources, you will deliver actionable insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy, optimize channel performance, improve campaign effectiveness, and drive business growth.

As a hands-on leader, you will balance strategic thinking with execution, helping the team move beyond reporting and dashboards toward a consultative analytics model. You will play a key role in advancing Moneris' marketing measurement capabilities, including ROI analysis, attribution, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and the adoption of modern analytics technologies such as Snowflake and Power BI.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing Analytics.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

  • Lead the development of digital marketing analytics strategies, evaluate campaign performance, and provide leadership and guidance to a team of analysts.

  • Develop and apply statistical models, including segmentation, profiling, predictive, propensity, retention, churn, acquisition, and growth models to support marketing initiatives.

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to define campaign KPIs, establish performance targets, and identify opportunities to improve measurement and business outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights into customer and marketing performance.

  • Establish and manage a data and analytics Center of Excellence to promote consistent, effective, and accurate use of data across the organization.

  • Manage data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure analytics data is accurately collected, integrated, and reported.

  • Define analytics priorities, develop project plans, and allocate resources to support business objectives.

  • Lead complex analyses across multiple data sources and translate findings into business recommendations.

  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to improve data architecture, data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytics processes.

  • Lead analytics testing and validation activities, including quality assurance and end-to-end integration testing, to ensure data and reporting solutions function as intended.

Required skills and experience

  • University degree. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.

  • Experience with web and digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics 360, tag management platforms, call tracking tools, and A/B testing solutions.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Looker Studio.

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud.

  • Experience using Google BigQuery and SQL, Snowflake and DBT.

  • Experience performing data analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling.

  • Understanding of enterprise data architecture and modeling principles.

  • Experience developing insights and recommendations for business stakeholders using data.

  • Experience managing cross-functional partnerships and projects.

  • Inspires clarity and structure in uncertain environments; drives focus across the team.

  • Expert presenter and data storyteller with strong executive presence.
