Job Description:
The Technical Analyst (Contractor) supports the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing operational stability of healthcare systems built on the Cognizant Facets platform.
This is a full-time contract position working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure partners to deliver and support integrations, extensions, and cloud-based solutions.
The role serves as a technical liaison, translating business and operational requirements into technical solutions, supporting Facets integrations and extension points, performing data analysis using SQL, and assisting with application deployments within AWS environments.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while supporting enterprise-scale healthcare systems.
Required skills:
3 years of residential requirements in the US
Proven experience with Cognizant / TriZetto Facets, including integrations, extension points, and batch processing
Strong SQL expertise, including complex query development, data validation, and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Facets Data model
Experience supporting AWS-based deployments and cloud application environments
Understanding of system integration architectures, including APIs, file-based interfaces, and batch jobs
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Experience with production support, incident triage, and root-cause analysis
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
