This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to mental health services. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to standard work hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our team utilizes telehealth technologies that facilitate seamless communication and engagement with clients, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of care delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment, both prior to and during care, to ensure the services provided align with medical necessity and patient needs.
• Review and perform prior authorizations specific to mental health services, adhering to established regulatory guidelines to confirm the appropriateness of treatment plans.
• Engage in concurrent reviews of inpatient behavioral health cases, assessing the overall well-being of members and collaborating on discharge planning to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Analyze behavioral health member data to enhance service quality and ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
• Educate clients, families, and providers about behavioral health services and how to navigate the utilization processes effectively.
• Collaborate closely with behavioral healthcare providers to discuss patient care levels and service delivery, ensuring a unified approach to treatment.
• Work with medical directors and leadership to develop strategies that improve the quality of care and overall patient satisfaction.
• Participate in case presentations and integrated rounds to discuss complex cases and share insights for improved care practices.
• Adhere to organizational policies and standards, undertaking additional duties as assigned.

Your work will focus on serving a diverse population that includes individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care to clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that treatment plans are culturally competent and tailored to meet their unique needs. By utilizing telehealth, you will break down barriers to access and provide timely support to those in need.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master's degree in behavioral health is preferred and may be necessary for certain certifications.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, allowing for independent practice.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, showcasing your ability to handle various client situations effectively.

• Experience working in community health settings or similar environments that prioritize client engagement and holistic care.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms, contributing to effective remote service delivery.

The compensation for this position ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
