CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – PHARMACY SUPPORT
LOCATION: Onsite | Potential Hybrid
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $22.00/hour contractor pay
• Permanent schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
• Training: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM for approximately 8–12 weeks; onsite attendance required throughout training
• Upon meeting required performance goals, position may transition to hybrid: 2 days onsite and 3 days remote
ROLE IMPACT
Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and customers, handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to prescription status, refills, medication delivery, payments, and insurance information. Success in this role requires accurate documentation, dependable schedule adherence, and efficient resolution of non-clinical inquiries while ensuring clinical concerns are routed appropriately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding prescription status, refill needs, medication delivery scheduling, payments, insurance information, invoices, and other non-clinical inquiries.
• Schedule medication deliveries and collect accurate information to support timely prescription distribution.
• Document clear, concise progress notes so pharmacy teams can quickly assess referral and prescription status.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns and route clinical matters to pharmacists, nurses, or other appropriate staff.
• Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinical staff in accordance with established procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 1 year of heavy call center experience involving strict attendance and schedule adherence requirements.
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute accurately and maintain detailed customer and patient records.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite throughout training and maintain the permanent Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM schedule.
