• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments through interviews and document client progress from the initial consultation to treatment conclusion.
• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to craft relevant intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing various mental health concerns.
• Monitor and document client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in partnership with clients and other providers.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to refine and implement intervention strategies.
• Follow up with any hospitalizations to ensure seamless continuity of care for clients.
• Identify and intervene to reduce behaviors that disrupt the recovery process.
• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing challenges tied to patients' mental health conditions.

At Inner Calm Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele spanning various ages, backgrounds, and presenting mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. • Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A passing score on the National Counselors Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong proficiency in electronic health records systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams.

• Prior experience in clinical mental health counseling, including direct client engagement in therapy settings.
• Familiarity with the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals and their impact on mental health.
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Insight into co-occurring disorders related to addiction and other behavioral health challenges.
