Remote Amazon LPNs are Licensed Practical Nurses who work remotely for Amazon, typically as part of Amazon's employee health and wellness teams. They provide nursing support, health assessments, and case management services to Amazon employees, often through telehealth platforms. Their responsibilities can include answering health-related questions, coordinating care, and assisting with medical case reviews. How does working as a Remote Amazon LPN differ from a traditional in-person LPN role?

  • Engage in consistent collaboration with our interdisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to support.
  • Document all necessary information within specified time frames, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and contribute recommendations for best practices and service improvements.

This role centers on providing therapeutic services to children aged 3 to 20 who have developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as their families. You will be working closely with caregivers, helping them develop skills to promote effective parenting strategies, and advocating for their children’s needs within various settings, including schools and community resources.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential to practice.
  • Availability for at least 5-10 hours of work each week during after-school hours (typically from 4 pm to 7 pm), with additional weekend hours when possible.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for facilitating in-home visitations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing positive behavior support and interventions.
  • Previous work with children who have intellectual or developmental disabilities is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by bilingual families, particularly those who speak Spanish or Portuguese, enhances your application.
  • Success in implementing evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to younger populations.
Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary package, ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits include:

  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and creativity.
  • Comprehensive health coverage for employees.
  • Generous paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Short-term and long-term disability options.
  • A retirement savings plan (401K) with organizational matching.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities including training and workshops.
