Remote Amazon Freight Partners are independent businesses or individuals who contract with Amazon to provide freight transportation services, such as delivering packages and goods to customers or fulfillment centers. These partners operate their own fleets or work with carriers to transport Amazon shipments, but they do so remotely, meaning coordination and management can often be handled online without being physically present at Amazon facilities. This role allows for flexible logistics management and is ideal for those with experience in transportation and operations. Partners benefit from Amazon's vast network while also maintaining their own business autonomy. The program aims to expand Amazon's delivery capabilities and create business opportunities for logistics professionals.

Job description

Application deadline: Jul 12, 2026
At Amazon, we're committed to being Earth's most customer-centric company. The Amazon Customs & Trade (ACT) team plays a critical role in that mission - delivering end-to-end customs brokerage services that keep global supply chains moving efficiently and compliantly.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-obsessed Customs Brokerage Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will own daily customs clearance operations across ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments - partnering with freight forwarders, sellers, and vendors to ensure accurate documentation, timely entry filing, and full regulatory compliance

You'll be a key escalation point for clearance issues and a trusted resource for internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Verify completeness and accuracy of customer onboarding documentation and commercial records
- Prepare and submit import documentation to regulatory agencies to ensure timely release and delivery
- Perform accurate data entry for entry filing, tariff classifications, and inspection records
- Monitor shipment clearance status and manage issue escalation with freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Generate and track delivery forms, ensuring all compliance requirements are met
- Meet daily and weekly KPI targets for entry submission accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as second-tier support for Customer Service escalations related to cross-border shipments
- Collaborate with origin and destination logistics teams to resolve shipment issues end-to-end
About the team
The Amazon Customs & Trade (ACT) team is a fast-paced, high-impact group of logistics and compliance professionals dedicated to making international trade seamless for Amazon's customers and partners. We operate at the intersection of global supply chain, regulatory compliance, and customer experience - and we hold ourselves to the same high bar we set for our customers. We value precision, ownership, and continuous improvement, and we're looking for teammates who do too.
