This role will focus on developing complex queries and database objects across SQL Server and Oracle platforms, with a strong emphasis on sourcing, transforming, and validating Oracle HCM data to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and historical data needs. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex SQL and database objects across SQL Server and Oracle environments. • Support HR data replication and modernization, translating legacy SQL Server logic to Oracle HCM–sourced data. • Design and implement data structures, transformations, and database objects for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption. • Leverage Oracle Analytics tools (e.g., BI Publisher) to source, validate, and interpret Oracle HCM data and reporting logic. • Analyze Oracle HCM frontend functionality and backend data structures to ensure accurate data usage. • Partner with technical, analytics, and business stakeholders to define and validate requirements, metrics, and data logic. • Create and maintain technical requirements, data documentation, including data definitions, business rules, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and governance artifacts. • Contribute to data quality checks, reconciliations, and cross-system issue resolution. Required Soft Skills: • Ability to work independently as a contractor and deliver on clearly defined outcomes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when troubleshooting data or report logic • Clear communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Adaptability in environments with evolving requirements and frequent system changes • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
