Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing counselors to work comfortably from their homes. We offer flexible scheduling options, with opportunities for both full-time (30+ hours/week) and part-time (5+ hours/week) commitments. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via video chat.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Facilitate skill-building sessions that focus on coping mechanisms, problem-solving techniques, and communication strategies.
• Document counseling sessions and treatment progress with minimal paperwork requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and encouragement to clients, utilizing an easy-to-navigate counseling platform for effective management of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is on stable, low-acuity adults seeking help for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions. The role requires an empathetic approach to counseling, creating a safe space for clients to share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Our goal is to enable clients to navigate their challenges effectively, reinforcing their coping skills for long-term success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure in the state of Kansas as an LCMFT, LCPC, LICSW, or PsyD.
• Independent licensure without the need for supervision is essential.
• No history of disciplinary actions or sanctions against your license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong proficiency in computer literacy.
• A stable and reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted client sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth services, particularly in delivering counseling through video platforms.
• Previous work within a diverse client population with varying mental health needs.
• Proven track record of developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 100,000, commensurate with hours worked and experience.
