Job description

A respected mental health facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a Nurse Practitioner AGNP or FNP or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Preferred) to provide addiction and dual-diagnosis care on a locum tenens basis. This is a flexible part-time opportunity ideal for a provider passionate about supporting adult patients with both substance use and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations (60 minutes each) for adult patients.
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up visits (15-20 minutes each).
  • Treat dual-diagnosis patients with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders.
  • Manage a consistent patient caseload.
  • Document care in EMR system and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered treatment.

Requirements
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania.
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Preferred).
  • Prescriptive authority required.
  • 1-3 years of psychiatry, addiction medicine or PCP experience Preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to holistic, compassionate care.

Position Details
