Develop and maintain simulation tools that integrate reactor physics, control systems, and operational data.

Create scalable data pipelines and automation workflows for experimental and reactor test environments.

Collaborate with nuclear, mechanical, and controls engineers to embed intelligent decision-making into control architectures.

Build digital twins of reactor subsystems to evaluate performance under simulated and real-world conditions.

Develop software applications and APIs using Python, C++, or JavaScript frameworks for visualization, data analysis, and control interfaces.

Implement cybersecurity and data integrity measures for mission-critical systems.

Support deployment of AI systems across cloud and edge computing environments.

Contribute to research publications, technical reports, and internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.

5+ years of experience in software development, machine learning, or AI systems engineering.

Strong programming skills in Python, C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

Experience with simulation tools, digital twins, or high-performance computing (HPC) preferred.

Knowledge of control systems, reinforcement learning, or physics-informed AI is a plus.

Familiarity with nuclear, energy, or industrial automation domains is advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

U.S. citizenship or eligibility for security clearance may be required.
