Job Title: Regional Sales Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Associate to join our team in Sales & Business Development. This role involves demonstrating products to contractors, seeking new distributor partners, implementing sales programs, and supporting trade shows and industry events. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with current dealers, managing accounts, and ensuring timely customer follow-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Visit jobsites to demonstrate products directly to contractors with distributor involvement.
  • Seek out new distributor partners within the territory.
  • Implement sales programs and promotions, including RBU program.
  • Attend and support trade shows, industry events, and distributor open houses.
  • Cover other territories on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current dealers by training sales staff and merchandising retail locations.
  • Identify key sales personnel for training and promotional efforts.
  • Conduct jobsite visits alongside customers to reinforce product value.
  • Ensure timely follow-up to customer requests and make bi-weekly calls to each key account.
  • Assist with collections on past due accounts in partnership with the Office Manager.
  • Use CRM tools daily to track interactions, monitor sales pipeline, and submit reports.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to test products in the field and provide feedback for product development.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, ideally with a manufacturer or industrial equipment company.
  • Experience in developing pricing strategies and executing sales promotions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM platforms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in construction, concrete, and site construction.
  • Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment for jobsite and trade show visits.
  • Capability to set up and dismantle displays at events and open houses.

Work Environment

The role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory, with about 70% travel expected for the first couple of months to a year, transitioning to about 50% travel thereafter. The candidate should live near an airport for ease of travel. This position involves working from home on Mondays, scheduling onsite meetings, and prospecting, while 3-4 days will be spent on the road visiting job sites and demonstrating products. A company car allowance, mileage reimbursement, company phone, and laptop are provided. Travel expenses for trade shows and events are covered, along with performance bonuses based on KPI achievements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

90% of medical is paid for by the employer, with a co-pay plan 100% coverage for dental and vision plans 401k program with 4% match Front load all PTO & sick days
