What is a remote airport operations manager?

A Remote Airport Operations Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and coordinating airport operations from a remote location. This role involves managing daily activities such as flight scheduling, safety compliance, communication with on-site staff, and responding to incidents, all through digital tools and remote monitoring systems. Remote Operations Managers play a crucial role in ensuring that airport operations run smoothly and efficiently, leveraging technology to maintain high standards of safety and service. They often work closely with both on-site teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless airport functionality.
