Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong experience in system integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a mix of business and technical acumen - skilled in documenting requirements, defining user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and supporting integration testing. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively across technical and business teams, and can occasionally step in to lead Scrum ceremonies when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Prepare clear and detailed BRDs, FRDs, and user stories with defined acceptance criteria for development and QA teams.
• Create process flow diagrams, swimlane workflows, and data mapping documents.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders on API testing, data validation, and integration tracking.
• Work closely with developers and security teams to ensure compliance with audits, maintain security documentation, and complete attestation processes.
• Manage work tracking and sprint progress in Azure DevOps.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation in Confluence.
• Prepare professional presentations and reports summarizing project status, risks, and milestones.
• Lead daily scrums or sprint ceremonies in the absence of a Scrum Master.
• Support SIT and UAT by validating requirements and ensuring test case coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Technical degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or system integration environments.
• Strong knowledge of integration concepts, APIs, and data mapping.
• Proficient in Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating flow diagrams and swimlane workflows using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, analytical, and a self-starter with a go-getter attitude.
Nice to Have:
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Fiddler, Visual Studio 2022, Docker Desktop, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies and related certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) a plus.
• Domain experience in airline, logistics, or enterprise system integration environments.
