Woolpert is hiring an Interior Designer to join our Interiors Discipline supporting our dynamic Mission Critical / Data Center practice. This position reports to the Interiors Discipline Team Leader and is responsible for assisting with the planning, design, and coordination of interior spaces in the design, planning, and delivery of highly technical workplace interior environments within mission critical and data center facilities.

You will serve as a trusted technical and design resource, working collaboratively with project managers, architects, designers, and consulting partners to support design quality and successful project outcomes. This role requires the ability to engage effectively with experienced professionals, contribute to integrated architectural and interior design solutions, and communicate clearly through all phases of design and delivery.
This position is ideal for a technically and creatively driven interior designer who thrives in mission critical environments, values collaboration with architectural partners, and is ready to grow as an emerging design leader within the firm.

What You Will Do:
  • Support specific technical aspects of interior projects, from assessment through coordinated solutions and documentation.
  • Prepare detailed interior design documentation and specifications, supporting coordinated project delivery.

  • Career advancement through personalized career path planning and regular performance evaluations, ensuring that each team member's progress is recognized and rewarded.
  • Opportunities to take on new challenges, lead projects, and expand skill sets, further enhancing personal and professional capabilities.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent)
  • 3 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field.
  • Proficiency with design and documentation tools (e.g., Revit, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite) and demonstrated ability to manage project components independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interest in pursuing interior design licensure and/or relevant certifications.
