We are seeking a Distributor Training Advisor with experience in the HVAC, plumbing, or home services industry to manage and grow relationships with distributors and manufacturers nationwide. This is a consultative sales and account management role focused on identifying client training needs, developing account plans and training journeys, presenting business training solutions, and building long-term partnerships that drive client growth and profitability.

If you have a track record of acquiring new clients, managing strategic accounts, and leading value-based sales conversations with distributors and manufacturers, this is an opportunity to work at a high level with a respected, growth-focused organization.

What You'll Do:

Develop and manage relationships with distributors and manufacturers across the U.S. while identifying and securing new business opportunities, build trust with clients and manage recurring sales cycles through strategic account development, create account plans and customized training journeys based on identified business needs, conduct discovery conversations and present value-based training and coaching solutions with a strong ROI focus, deliver business reviews and growth recommendations to key accounts, maintain a consistent and active sales pipeline that meets or exceeds growth targets, collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop communication campaigns that drive leads and strengthen client engagement, maintain accurate and detailed activity within Dynamics CRM, represent BDR at trade shows, seminars, podcasts, industry events, and presentations to strengthen partnerships and promote company solutions, stay current on market conditions, training trends, and emerging technologies, develop expertise in BDR's full suite of training, coaching, and consulting services, and contribute to the development of sales tools, presentations, and promotional materials.

Work Schedule and Location:

Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility as needed for business demands, remote work environment with travel required for client meetings, conferences, events, training sessions, and industry functions.

Compensation:

$75,000 base salary depending on experience, plus commission tied to quota-based sales performance, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000 to $150,000 annually.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in new client acquisition sales
  • At least 10 years of experience in account management, consulting, advisory services, or strategic B2B sales
  • Proven success managing strategic accounts and cultivating recurring sales relationships
  • Strong knowledge of the HVAC, plumbing, home services, distribution, or manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a high-performing sales pipeline and exceed targets
  • Experience developing account plans, conducting needs assessments, and delivering business reviews
  • Experience delivering value-based presentations, proposals, and consultative solution selling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and standard business tools
  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, and time management skills
  • Dedicated home office environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
