Job description

Looking for a company that values your skills, respects your contributions, and gives you the tools to thrive?

With more than 145 years as a family-owned business, we've built a reputation as one of the best mechanical and fire protection contractors in the country. We pride ourselves on delivering unmatched quality and innovation while providing you with job stability, opportunities for career progression, and support. We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Applications Specialist located in Fond du Lac, WI.

How you will contribute:

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Applications Specialist to join our IT team. This position can be based out of any of our Wisconsin offices and offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our construction management and service ERP system.

In this role, you'll partner with internal teams and external vendors to enhance the systems that keep our business running smoothly. You'll help plan, develop, test, and implement system improvements and upgrades; troubleshoot issues through second-level support; and look for ways to improve the overall user experience. You'll also have the opportunity to write queries, create SSRS reports, manage process automations using RPAs and other technology, perform some script writing, and develop documentation that supports business needs and enables users to work more efficiently.

As you grow in this position, you'll gain a deep understanding of our business operations and processes, using that knowledge to guide and empower users to make the most of our technology tools.

What you need to qualify:

We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical, and a problem solver who enjoys collaborating with others to make technology work better. A degree in Information Technology or a related field and 1-2+ years of ERP support experience are preferred. Strong SQL skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users are essential.
