Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst - Remote position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $95.00 - $99.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role focuses on translating business requirements into technology solutions within the transportation management (TMS) and onboard-computer (OBC) space. The ideal candidate will support system deployments, gather requirements for new product lines, perform functional testing, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance complex information systems. All work is to be completed in the CST time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply an understanding of business needs to create better process and technology solutions in the TMS / OBC space
  • Work with team members to guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit and risk/impact analysis
  • Support system deployment, reviewing ticket backlog, prioritizing issues, and working them to resolution
  • Participate with the team to perform analysis and gather requirements for deployment to additional product lines
  • Provide test plans, test cases, perform functional testing, and assure proper user acceptance testing
  • Support, test, and enhance simple to moderately complex information systems
  • Maintain detailed documentation
  • Provide new user training on supported applications, as requested
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Participate in testing for unit tests and integration tests
  • Provide cutover and hyper care support


Primary Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT Business Analyst experience in road transportation
  • One full lifecycle OBC deployment
  • One full lifecycle TMS deployment
  • One year of OBC / TMS support experience
  • 1+ year of requirements-gathering SDLC workshop experience
  • Proven ability to work with cross-matrixed teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and thought delivery skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to balance self-guided exploration with intelligent questions
  • Efficient time manager with strong collaboration skills

  • Mastery Mastermind deployment / support experience
  • Road Energy Transportation business experience
  • Snowflake Integration experience
