Mid-Level Composites Manufacturing Planner

We are hiring an Associate or Mid-Level Composites Manufacturing Planner to support aerospace fabrication and production engineering operations in Everett, WA. This role is responsible for developing manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, tooling requirements, and production processes while supporting composite manufacturing, engineering, supplier integration, and factory operations to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and technical illustrations that define and document as-built product configurations.
  • Develop manufacturing concepts, production strategies, and process improvements that support business objectives and production requirements.
  • Integrate suppliers, manufacturing processes, materials, technologies, and production data to meet manufacturing and delivery schedules.
  • Review and approve supplier documentation to ensure manufacturing requirements and engineering specifications are satisfied.
  • Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs and manage tooling throughout its lifecycle, from design through end-of-use disposition.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing and production-related issues to support factory operations.
  • Perform producibility assessments for parts and product designs to improve manufacturability, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
  • Provide manufacturing and producibility input during product design, process development, and manufacturing technology implementation.
  • Develop integrated work statements, manufacturing sequences, and production plans that support delivery commitments.
  • Draft, update, and maintain manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with business, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide shipside production support by resolving manufacturing issues and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and production teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within composite fabrication and production engineering environments.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support production schedules and operational requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ year of related manufacturing planning, production engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, systems, testing commodities, or production operations.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience developing or supporting Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing plans, work instructions, or production documentation.
  • Ability to provide shipside manufacturing support and resolve production issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and configuration management.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Everett, Washington.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of manufacturing planning, production engineering, composites manufacturing, or aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of related experience, Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience supporting composite fabrication, aerospace manufacturing, or commercial aircraft production.
  • Knowledge of tooling development, manufacturing process planning, supplier integration, and producibility analysis.
  • Ability to successfully satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
