Iron Will Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and informed full-time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in delivering specialized mental health care to high-risk patients in a supportive and dynamic outpatient environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating the complexities of emotional and environmental challenges that hinder clients from achieving optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of program planning and organization of mental health services tailored to our patient base.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, concerns, and necessary adjustments in treatment plans.
  • Document clinical encounters and maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively within the healthcare team to create robust treatment plans, including thorough discharge planning following in-depth psychosocial assessments.
  • Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, implementing therapeutic techniques to foster resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic chiefly supports high-risk patients who may be struggling with various mental health conditions stemming from personal, environmental, or systemic challenges. Many patients are navigating issues related to trauma, substance use, depression, and anxiety. The LICSW will play a crucial role in addressing these complex needs and promoting their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • At least three years of proven experience providing outpatient mental health services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, as well as a strong command of essential computer applications for documentation and communication.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is required to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and awareness of social determinants of health.

Compensation and Benefits
