Iron Will Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and informed full-time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to enhance our team. • Assist in the development and execution of program planning and organization of mental health services tailored to our patient base.
• Engage in ongoing communication with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, concerns, and necessary adjustments in treatment plans.
• Document clinical encounters and maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and professional standards.
• Work collaboratively within the healthcare team to create robust treatment plans, including thorough discharge planning following in-depth psychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, implementing therapeutic techniques to foster resilience.
• Consult with family members and support systems to develop well-rounded, holistic treatment strategies that facilitate successful client outcomes.

Our outpatient clinic chiefly supports high-risk patients who may be struggling with various mental health conditions stemming from personal, environmental, or systemic challenges. Many patients are navigating issues related to trauma, substance use, depression, and anxiety. The LICSW will play a crucial role in addressing these complex needs and promoting their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of proven experience providing outpatient mental health services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, as well as a strong command of essential computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
• Fluency in English is required to effectively interact with patients and team members.

• Experience working with diverse populations and awareness of social determinants of health.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and ability to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
• Previous experience in a remote work setting, demonstrating self-motivation and effective time management.
