Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring ethical guidelines and compassionate care are upheld.
  • Utilize evidence-based solution-focused therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the individualized needs of each client.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client input.
  • Facilitate clients in gaining insights into their emotional experiences, assisting them in understanding their feelings and relationships.
  • Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance treatment approaches collaboratively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve in this role are typically stable, low acuity adults who present with a variety of mental health challenges. Our primary focus is to provide supportive, non-crisis therapy that encourages clients to develop practical skills for better mental health management. By connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, you will play a pivotal role in their personal growth and recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • You must possess a full, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted; candidates must have no previous disciplinary actions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a sympathetic nature, fostering rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various technology tools and platforms relevant to remote therapy and case documentation.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in community mental health, remote counseling, or working with low-acuity populations will find themselves well-suited to thrive in this role. Experience in completing treatment documentation efficiently within electronic records is also desirable.
