Zenith's Mental Health Solutions is seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is designed for professionals who wish to provide therapeutic support to adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges from the comfort of their own homes. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering evidence-based interventions and promoting self-advocacy.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to create a work-life balance that suits your needs. Our digital counseling platform facilitates seamless video communication with clients, ensuring that you can deliver care from any location. In this team-oriented environment, you will collaborate with fellow mental health professionals while managing your own schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, without the pressure of on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions, providing therapy and assessments tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Utilize a solution-focused approach to create personalized treatment plans that support client progress and well-being.
  • Engage clients in discussing their emotions, thoughts, experiences, and challenges to foster self-awareness and insight.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in identifying their goals and helping them develop skills effectively to achieve them.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with telehealth regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strengthen collaborative care initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on adults dealing with stable, low-acuity mental health issues. This includes clients experiencing anxiety, mild depression, relationship challenges, and other similar conditions. We strive to provide a supportive environment that empowers clients to manage their mental health and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • An active, independent mental health license, such as:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Proficient computer skills and comfort with telehealth platforms for efficient service delivery.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, preference will be given to those with experience in teletherapy and working with adult populations. Candidates should also exhibit strong decision-making capabilities for treatment recommendations and possess excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and understood approach to therapy.
