As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial client intakes and thorough assessments, allowing for a deep understanding of psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Providing brief therapeutic interventions and crisis evaluations to clients, utilizing your expertise to guide them towards appropriate resources.
• Offering individual and family therapy sessions, with a focus on addressing mental health challenges ranging from mild to moderate conditions.
• Creating and regularly updating customized treatment plans that align with the latest standards in clinical practice, ensuring that the treatment goals are client-centered and achievable.
• Collaborating with emergency response teams as necessary, actively participating in safety and operational programs to uphold a secure therapeutic environment.

You will work with a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, allowing you to apply your skill set across various age groups and mental health challenges. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear client interaction and documentation.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries while providing empathetic support.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3 to 4 years of direct experience working with couples and families, engaging in therapeutic practices that enhance relational dynamics.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and the ability to recognize when to refer patients to additional services for severe mental health issues.
