  • Your Impact as a Sales Manager:
  • We’re seeking high-energy, strategic Sales Managers to drive growth across our U.S. branches. You’ll be the face of Emons Air amp; Sea, building relationships, closing deals, and helping businesses streamline their logistics operations. This role is perfect for a dynamic, goal-oriented sales professional with a knack for problem-solving and a deep understanding of freight forwarding and customs brokerage.
Top Tasks:
  • Develop New Business: Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive retention and growth.
  • Strategic Sales Execution: Craft and deliver compelling sales pitches that highlight the unique value of Emons’ services.
  • Rate Negotiation: Work closely with clients, agents, vendors, and carriers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the President, National Operations Manager, and Regional Import/Export Managers to align strategies and achieve company goals.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track and implement accounts while using CRM tools and MS Teams for effective collaboration.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on freight forwarding trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide top-notch service.
  • Travel: Be available for travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
What Sets you Apart:
  • Experience: 2-5 years in Sales Management + 1-2 years in Freight Forwarding Operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of custom brokerage processes and freight forwarding operations.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to exceed sales targets and develop long-term business relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in ITS/Nextgen, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, O365, SharePoint).
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—a true people person!
  • Organized amp; Detail-Oriented: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and never miss a detail.
  • Team Player: You’re collaborative and driven by collective success.
Desirable Skills:
  • Sales Leadership Experience: 2-5 years of Sales Management + 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Development: Sales training or certifications preferred.
