• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, thereby creating tailored treatment plans that promote effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing person-centered approaches that foster clients' self-discovery and personal growth.
• Set mutually agreed-upon therapeutic goals with clients and regularly track their progress to ensure efficacy in treatment.
• Offer teletherapy solutions for clients who prefer or require virtual sessions, ensuring access for those with mobility challenges or geographic barriers.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to elevate your clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health treatment.

Your practice will primarily focus on individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will work with a diverse client base, including young adults, families, and couples, which presents an opportunity to apply various therapeutic modalities suited to different client needs. This role will enable you to support clients in overcoming personal challenges and facilitate their journeys towards healing and well-being.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to form secure therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences are crucial.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively manage caseload and administrative tasks.

• Experience in conducting trauma-informed care and working with individuals with complex mental health issues.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, is a plus.
• Prior experience in a private practice setting can be beneficial.
