Remote Adoption Agency information

What is a remote adoption agency?

A remote adoption agency is an organization that facilitates the adoption process primarily through online platforms and virtual communication, rather than requiring in-person visits. These agencies help connect prospective adoptive parents with children in need of homes, provide counseling, conduct virtual home studies, and guide families through the legal steps involved in adoption. Remote adoption agencies make the process more accessible for people who may not live near a traditional agency or who prefer the convenience of handling much of the process online.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a remote adoption agency role, and why are they important?

To thrive in a remote adoption agency position, you need a background in social work or human services, knowledge of adoption laws, and relevant certifications such as an LSW or MSW. Familiarity with case management systems, secure communication platforms, and digital documentation tools is critical. Exceptional empathy, communication, and organizational skills help build trust with clients and manage sensitive information effectively. These qualifications and skills ensure ethical, compliant, and compassionate support for families and children navigating the adoption process remotely.

What are some unique challenges of working remotely for an adoption agency, and how can I prepare for them?

Working remotely for an adoption agency often involves balancing sensitive client interactions with the need for strict confidentiality while using digital platforms. You may face challenges such as building trust with adoptive families and birth parents through virtual meetings, managing documentation securely, and coordinating with team members across different locations. To succeed, it's important to be comfortable with technology, communicate clearly and empathetically, and stay organized with digital case files. Familiarity with secure online communication tools and a strong sense of ethical responsibility are essential for maintaining the integrity of the adoption process.

The coordinator role is more focused on direct support and coordination, while the agency encompasses the broader organizational functions.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead vertical go-to-market initiatives, with a focus on the travel and auto segments. This is a new and pivotal role within StackAdapt's marketing team. As the first dedicated Product Marketing Manager supporting these strategic verticals, you'll have the opportunity to define the playbook, influence product priorities, and help establish StackAdapt as the partner of choice for travel and automotive marketers.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company; we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada and the United States for this position and encourage those from all backgrounds to apply. This role reports into the Director of Product Marketing.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Vertical GTM Leadership: Own the go-to-market strategy for priority industry verticals, with a primary focus on travel and auto, and expand to additional verticals as the role grows.
  • Travel and Auto Vertical Strategy: Build and execute tailored GTM strategies for travel and automotive brands, agencies, and partners that activate media programmatically.
  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and differentiated positioning and messaging for StackAdapt's solutions within the travel and auto verticals and other key industries, speaking to the needs of agencies, platforms, and end advertisers.
  • Market and Competitive Insight: Lead market research and competitive analysis for the travel and auto solutions landscape in programmatic, identifying opportunities, risks, and whitespace to refine StackAdapt's offering and narrative.
  • Launch and Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute launches and enhancements that are specific to vertical needs, from campaign tools and workflows to measurement, compliance, and data partners.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, trading, partnerships, content, and demand generation to ensure tight alignment on vertical strategy and priorities, including strong partnership with travel and auto-focused sales teams.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Define and track KPIs for vertical initiatives, including adoption, win rates, revenue contribution, and pipeline health, and report back insights with clear recommendations.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • 5+ Years in B2B Product Marketing: Experience in B2B product marketing, segment marketing, or vertical marketing, ideally in adtech, martech, SaaS, or data driven products, with exposure to programmatic advertising and high-value vertical marketing.
  • Programmatic and Digital Advertising Knowledge: Solid understanding of programmatic buying, audience targeting, measurement, and how travel and auto advertisers use digital channels across the funnel.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfort operating in a new and evolving function, with a bias to action, testing, and iterating to unlock growth in strategic verticals.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize market trends, customer input, and performance data into clear recommendations that influence product and commercial decisions.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven success partnering with sales, product, and leadership to build alignment and deliver measurable business impact. Experience supporting specialized teams such as political or public sector is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident building narratives for both internal stakeholders and external clients across travel, automotive, and other vertical accounts.
Bonus Experience
  • Experience in the travel or automotive advertising ecosystem is a strong plus, but not required.
  • Background at a travel or automotive agency, consultancy, ad platform, or in-house role serving travel brands or automotive manufacturers and dealerships would be especially valuable.
  • Strong understanding of travel booking cycles or automotive purchase funnels, seasonal trends, consumer intent data, and stakeholder dynamics across brands and agencies is a plus.
