Job description

Pelican Signs is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer / CAD Production Artist to join our small, dynamic team remotely. This role is perfect for someone passionate about crafting artwork that is not only visually striking but also ready for manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with our sales and production teams to design commercial signage, develop CNC-ready production files, create architectural sign elevations, and produce apparel graphics and customer proofs.

Responsibilities

  • Design commercial signs, vehicle graphics, banners, and large-format graphics
  • Create production-ready CAD/CNC files for routing and fabrication
  • Produce architectural sign elevation drawings for approvals and permitting
  • Develop apparel artwork for embroidery, screen printing, and DTF printing
  • Prepare accurate customer proof sheets
  • Organize and modify artwork according to company standards for production
  • Ensure all artwork is manufacturable and production-ready
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, project management, and production teams
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently

Required Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of vector artwork
  • Ability to create clean, production-ready files
  • Familiarity with large-format printing processes
  • Experience creating CNC/router files
  • Ability to read dimensions and scale drawings accurately
