We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team at Harbor of Hope Counseling Services, LLC. In this full-time, remote role, you will play a pivotal part in offering comprehensive mental health services to a diverse range of clients, including adults, seniors, and adolescents. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address the unique psychosocial needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized counseling and therapeutic services to a caseload of clients with varying degrees of clinical acuity.
  • Evaluate and diagnose mental health issues as part of comprehensive treatment plans, collaborating with clients to set achievable goals.
  • Engage with clients through supportive counseling, crisis intervention, grief counseling, and psychoeducation, helping them navigate the emotional complexities of their illnesses.
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments upon admission and periodically throughout treatment to identify clients' social and emotional needs.
  • Document all interactions and progress in electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with organizational policies and guidelines.
