The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for representing our brand and values to potential patients as the first point of contact. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will be able to communicate clearly with empathy and provide courteous diligent customer service.
Provide general info regarding our practice, schedule patients for consultations, check eligibility, verify insurance and provide overall world-class customer service.
We are seeking individuals with excellent interpersonal and phone skills with the following qualifications:
• Answer Phones diligently.
• Take Messages and pass them to the required team member.
• Handle a high volume of incoming customer service calls
• Demonstrate a positive demeanor when resolving matters.
• Schedule and Confirm Appointments.
• Accurately documents all calls in EMR system
• Engages and collaborates with other department
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks, work with interruptions.
• Open to working alternative schedules including weekends.
• Responsible for timely follow-up on transferred calls.
• Handle confidential information and patient medical records.
• Participate in staff meetings and other in-services or trainings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Able to prioritize assignments and multi-task in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Able to demonstrate analytical skill to identify, evaluate and resolve patient concerns with the help of staff and medical team.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Has strong bilingual English/Spanish conversational skills.
• Able to maintain positive relationships with other departments.
• Has ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and to respond professionally.
