• Provide individualized psychotherapy for students grappling with mental health issues, specifically within the context of substance abuse treatment.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, tailored to each student's specific challenges and needs.
• Administer diverse therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapted to the requirements of substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to facilitate coordinated care and ensure that every patient receives holistic support.
• Educate students and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources, empowering them with knowledge and tools for recovery.
• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in social work, integrating new findings into your therapeutic approach.
• Effectively manage your caseload, set and meet treatment objectives, and adhere to established ethical practices.

You will work with a diverse population of young individuals facing various mental health challenges, particularly in relation to substance abuse disorders. Your role as a licensed therapist will be crucial in guiding these students through their recovery process, helping them navigate the complexities of their conditions and encouraging them towards a healthier future.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with a focus on substance abuse therapy and mental health interventions.
• Strong knowledge of solution-focused interventions and the ability to adapt therapeutic methods to meet individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong capacity for teamwork.

• Experience working in school settings or communities with high needs for mental health support.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation systems that streamline client care processes.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team collaborations to enhance patient outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
