Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies by conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clientsโ€™ mental health needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, couples, and group sessions.
  • Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support across various needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Many clients may have limited access to mental health resources, and as a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in bridging that gap and providing them with the care and support they need.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating a solid background in providing mental health services.
