Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through comprehensive interviews and diagnostic tools.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that effectively address clients' unique challenges.
  • Maintain regular therapeutic sessions with clients to provide ongoing support, guidance, and coping strategies.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a collaborative environment where clients can share experiences and learn from one another.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide clinical referrals to healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, when further assessment or medication management is required.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately within the EHR system, while adhering to legal guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and expertise in formulating comprehensive care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients experiencing mental health disorders, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your cultural competence will be essential in understanding and addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, allowing for personalized and impactful therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches and a commitment to cultural competence in therapy practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy using inclusive and culturally sensitive methodologies.
  • Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines surrounding confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms is preferred, given our remote working capabilities.
  • Familiarity with specific populations facing societal and economic challenges that can impact mental health.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
