This position operates in a remote setting, which has been crafted to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among mental health professionals. Working from the comfort of your own space allows for flexible scheduling, helping to accommodate both patient and staff needs. Our detox center focuses on critical periods of recovery, and you will be integral in providing necessary support and therapeutic techniques to clients during this pivotal time.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments utilizing standardized tools and methods to evaluate patients' mental health status, strengths, needs, and challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to the needs of individuals in detox and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Assist patients and their families in navigating the recovery process by providing education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on building skills and resiliency through evidence-based modalities.
• Work with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate patient goals, preferences, and clinical needs.
• Advocate for patients within the mental health system, providing assistance with access to resources, rights, and community services.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to post-treatment support.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including adults facing substance abuse issues, mental health disorders, and complex co-occurring conditions. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
