The Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time, remote position. This remote position is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring therapists remain connected to their clients and collaborate diligently with fellow professionals. Your home office will serve as a private space for conducting therapy sessions, promoting an environment conducive to confidentiality and comfort. Access to necessary telehealth technologies and tools will be provided, ensuring that you can deliver effective care from anywhere.

• Establish a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients to create an open and supportive environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual circumstances and requirements of each client to promote effective recovery.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that encourage healing and foster interpersonal connections.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans as needed to respond to evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to refer clients to additional resources and specialists when necessary.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapies and practices to provide the best possible care.

The client base at the Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Center consists of diverse individuals, couples, and families, many of whom face complex mental health and addiction issues. As an LMFT, you will work closely with individuals navigating their journeys toward health and stability, ensuring that each session addresses their unique situations and challenges. Our holistic approach means considering the broader context of each client's life, including social determinants of health that may influence their mental well-being.

• A valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Prior experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on both family dynamics and individual therapy.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Proven therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage clients effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage clients meaningfully.
