• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Develop customized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor client progress systematically, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and beneficial self-care strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care plan for clients.
• Stay updated on the latest research and treatment developments related to mood disorders to enhance therapy effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and receive peer support.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, striving to reduce stigma and promote awareness.

The ideal LMFT will work with a diverse client population experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and other related conditions. • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
