As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance use history, mental health status, and social support systems.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring each client receives tailored care.
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions using techniques grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to provide an integrative treatment approach.
• Support and educate clients' families on their roles in the recovery process, promoting a holistic support system for clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records management in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols.

You will serve a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with substance use disorders and their associated mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and stages of recovery, requiring you to be adaptable and empathetic in your approach as you help them navigate their unique journeys toward wellness.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.
• Specialized training or relevant experience in addiction counseling is essential.
• Profound knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment methodologies for both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Strong therapeutic skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate clients towards change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

We prefer candidates who bring relevant experience in addiction treatment settings and can demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic approaches for a variety of client demographics. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices will be highly advantageous, enhancing client engagement and care delivery.
