Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Position Details

Location: Indiana
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

This telehealth position gives Licensed Mental Health Counselors the opportunity to provide consistent therapy services to clients from a remote setting. You will work with individuals who are seeking help for personal challenges, emotional distress, stress-related concerns, and mental health symptoms that are affecting their day-to-day lives.

Your role will involve more than simply holding sessions. You will listen carefully, assess clinical needs, create clear treatment goals, document care, and help clients move through therapy at a pace that fits their situation. This is a practical, client-facing role for an LMHC who wants full-time stability and meaningful clinical responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually for scheduled therapy sessions
  • Complete clinical evaluations and identify treatment needs
  • Create and maintain treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and life transition concerns
  • Help clients strengthen coping skills and work through personal challenges
  • Keep session notes, progress updates, and clinical records organized and current
  • Follow all legal, ethical, and professional standards for remote counseling
  • Respond appropriately to safety concerns or changes in client presentation

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active Indiana LMHC license in good standing
  • Previous experience providing counseling or psychotherapy services
  • Comfortable delivering therapy in a remote setting
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with electronic health records preferred
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and sound judgment
