The Immediate Cure Mental and Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Immediate Cure, you will undertake various duties to support our clients, including:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and personal goals.
  • Developing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that are focused on addressing both addiction and the underlying mental health conditions contributing to each clientโ€™s challenges.
  • Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, ensuring that interventions are tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Collaborating closely with other members of the treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and peer support specialists, to ensure that care is holistic and client-centered.
  • Providing educational resources and support to clientsโ€™ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process and enhancing the support network available to clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, while tracking progress towards treatment goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele from various backgrounds, each on their unique recovery journey. Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this role:

  • A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with demonstrated ability to motivate clients and facilitate transformative sessions.
  • Robust understanding of evidence-based practices, particularly in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders.
  • Exemplary communication skills that enhance teamwork and foster positive client relationships.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-license experience in a mental health counseling setting is required, candidates with specialized training or experience in addiction counseling are preferred.
