As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories, mental health issues, and individual circumstances.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction challenges and underlying mental health conditions.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and emotional well-being.
• Collaborating effectively with treatment team members to ensure integrated care delivery and continuity throughout the recovery process.
• Providing education and guidance to clients' families, fostering their involvement in the recovery journey to improve outcomes.

Your work will focus primarily on clients who are struggling with substance addiction and may also face co-occurring mental health disorders. To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A valid professional license (LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW) that enables you to provide mental health counseling services.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or hands-on experience in addiction counseling, with a strong grasp of related therapeutic modalities.
