The Role You will Play

  • The Managing Actuary, P&C will work as part of a team of professionals to independently analyze complex problems and develop workable solutions for self-insured clients, taking ownership of day-to-day project management responsibilities, ensuring seamless client communication and successfully lead client meetings.
  • This role will review and validate the work of deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and integrity on a wide variety of analyses, templates and exhibits.
  • The Managing Actuary, P&C actively oversees the training, development and mentorship of staff, fostering their career growth and professional advancement through the company.
  • This role is entrusted to prepare and deliver high-quality exhibits and written reports to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients.

Background Profile

  • 10+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients, including self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers
  • Expertise in reserving
  • Well versed in a range of actuarial projects, including pricing/ratemaking, predictive modeling, economic capital modeling, and loyalty rewards programs
  • Familiarity with business development
  • ACAS/FCAS
  • Strong experience in leadership and employee management
  • Demonstrated superior communication and client engagement skills
