• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment and crisis plans tailored to the needs of each client, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Complete documentation and reports promptly, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain compliance and facilitate communication amongst team members.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to accurately evaluate and track client progress within the treatment framework.
• Collaborate extensively with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals for each participant.
• Actively engage in the licensing and accreditation processes, participating in necessary training and evaluations to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison to various service systems, community partners, and state agencies to facilitate resource exchange and client advocacy.
• Foster open communication within the team and with clients, enhancing the delivery of services and promoting Metro West’s mission in the wider community.
• Identify opportunities for community partnerships and funding sources through networking with local, state, and federal organizations.
• Pursue continuous personal and professional development through participation in conferences, workshops, and community initiatives related to mental health.
• Promote and embody the agency's core values, ensuring they are reflected in all activities and interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to further support organizational effectiveness.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Metro West, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, and those seeking recovery from substance use. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and symptoms. Your role will be to bridge the gap between client needs and available resources, ensuring clients receive personalized and impactful treatment.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Possession of an Independent LMHC License is essential for practice.

• Prior experience in telehealth services or mental health counseling in a community-based setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
