Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in the licensing and accreditation processes, participating in necessary training and evaluations to uphold the highest standards of care.
  • Serve as a liaison to various service systems, community partners, and state agencies to facilitate resource exchange and client advocacy.
  • Foster open communication within the team and with clients, enhancing the delivery of services and promoting Metro West’s mission in the wider community.
  • Identify opportunities for community partnerships and funding sources through networking with local, state, and federal organizations.
  • Pursue continuous personal and professional development through participation in conferences, workshops, and community initiatives related to mental health.
  • Promote and embody the agency's core values, ensuring they are reflected in all activities and interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to further support organizational effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Metro West, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, and those seeking recovery from substance use. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and symptoms. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • Possession of an Independent LMHC License is essential for practice.
