Work Environment

As you work from home, you will also communicate frequently with onsite staff and department heads to align treatment goals and provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic sessions for clients, focusing on evidence-based practices and tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate fluid communication among healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and support.
• Engage in regular consultation with licensed supervisors and participate in monthly licensed consultation meetings.
• Play an active role in onboarding and mentoring new staff members, contributing to their training experience.
• Exhibit strong clinical boundaries and professionalism while maintaining a positive and warm environment for clients.
• Proactively identify and implement problem-solving strategies during therapeutic sessions to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children and teenagers navigating a range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Through comprehensive assessments and personalized therapeutic interventions, you will help empower these young individuals to develop coping skills, improve their emotional regulation, and enhance their resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure in the State of California as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience delivering outpatient mental health care.
• Exceptional responsiveness and operational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong clinical boundaries and a commitment to ethical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient or community health setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology for conducting remote therapy sessions.
• Previous involvement in staff training or mentorship initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

Fresh Start Mental Health Solutions offers a competitive annual salary of $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
