This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 annually based on experience and caseload.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Inspire and Empower, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, ensuring a work-life balance that is often difficult to find in traditional counseling settings. Our telehealth platform not only facilitates client sessions but also manages appointments and billing, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care without the burden of administrative tasks. In this role, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on strategies to enhance clients' mental well-being.
• Foster a trusting environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their emotions and experiences to gain insight into their lives.
• Collaborate with clients in defining realistic goals, acting as their advocate throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions systematically and develop tailored treatment plans that implement evidence-based solutions.

Your clients will consist of stable adults with low acuity needs, ensuring a manageable and positive caseload. All clients will have been screened to confirm their readiness for therapy, and you will be matched with clients whose backgrounds and needs align with your specialties and preferences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current, valid state licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, allowing for independent practice without supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate demeanor to effectively engage with clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology, enabling smooth communication through our telehealth systems.

We encourage candidates with at least two years of post-graduate counseling experience to apply. This experience should include providing individual therapy and developing treatment plans within a clinical setting. Familiarity with telehealth practices is also preferable, as it enhances your ability to connect with clients effectively.
