• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to determine clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate therapeutic goals.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client progress and treatment plans using our designated telehealth platform.
• Evaluate client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the most effective therapeutic approach.
• Engage in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and collaborate on client care strategies.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives that aim to educate and support the public regarding mental health issues.

You will work with a diverse range of clients presenting with various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic values inclusivity and strives to provide services that are culturally competent, allowing clients from all backgrounds to feel understood and respected during their therapeutic journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices, particularly in CBT and DBT.
• An understanding of psychopharmacology, with the capability to liaise effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic interventions.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs focusing on mental health education and support.
