Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
    Conduct regular meetings to review financial statements and create customized tax projections tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Review and explain business and personal tax returns with clients, providing insights and guidance.
  • Independently prepare error-free financial statements and accounting reports for client use.
  • Manage relationships with staff accountants, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Review the work of staff accountants for accuracy, providing training and guidance on necessary corrections.
  • File sales tax returns for applicable clients.
  • Analyze and resolve issues effectively, identifying problems and outlining actionable next steps.
  • Effectively manage workflow and schedule to ensure punctual client meetings and deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably within a CPA firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients across varied industries simultaneously.
  • Prior experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
  • Self-starter who is effective with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Xero and Thomson Reuters is a plus.
