Job description

We are looking for a remote Digital Enablement Specialist to support the Commercial Excellence team in Calvert, North Mobile County, AL.
 
This is a remote position. Candidates must be able and willing to travel to Mobile, Alabama, on an as-needed basis

Objective: The Digital Enablement Specialist serves as the commercial team's primary bridge between Sales and our IT team, enabling day-to-day digital operations across the BA Americas region. This role owns CRM super-user support, extranet administration, and the development and maintenance of internal tools (including CommercialHub) that empower the sales organization to operate efficiently and leverage technology to its fullest potential.

Requirements:

  • Related college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in Digital program deployment and experience leading Digital change.
  • Proven capability to build Digital roadmaps and align with enterprise architecture.
  • Digital dexterity. The ability to learn and utilize digital workplace technologies to catalyze new ways of working.

Individual Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and IT - triaging IT/ERP issues, clarifying business requirements, and ensuring the right context is shared for resolution.
  • Track and communicate IT/ERP enhancement requests on behalf of the commercial team, maintaining up-to-date status and comments so Sales always know where pending items stand.
  • Act as SAP C4C CRM super user and go-to support resource - troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving CRM challenges for all commercial team members.
  • Maintain and update documents in the customer extranet portal to ensure accurate, current information is available to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Administer internal and external access to the extranet portal, managing provisioning and ensuring appropriate user permissions.
  • Design, build, and maintain internal digital tools using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) that improve commercial processes and reduce manual workload for the sales team.
  • Own and continuously develop ComHub - a Power Apps solution that centralizes the commercial playbook, digital tools, information, approvals, forms, and tools used daily by the commercial team.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows, advocating for solutions that reduce friction and increase efficiency across Sales and Supply Chain.
  • Support end users with training, guidance, and troubleshooting on digital tools, acting as a first line of support before escalating to IT.

Shared Accountabilities

  • Actively participate in broader functional technology/ marketing projects and steering groups, especially where end users are impacted by change.
  • Actively participate in Outokumpu Americas digital workplace steering committee meetings, representing the voice of the customer (and the extended commercial team) and flagging business priorities in planning sessions.

Salary range: USD. 104,000 - 120,000
