Remote 50 Hour information

What is a remote 50 hour?

A Remote 50 Hour job refers to a position where an employee works remotely, typically from home or another location outside the main office, for a total of 50 hours per week. These jobs allow flexibility in work location but require a significant time commitment, often more than the standard 40-hour workweek. Remote 50 Hour jobs can be found in various industries such as IT, customer service, and project management. Employers may expect extended availability and strong time management skills from candidates in these roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote worker?

To thrive as a remote worker, you need strong self-management, time management, and communication skills, often supported by relevant experience in your field. Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management systems such as Asana or Trello is typically required. Initiative, adaptability, and proactive communication set top performers apart in remote environments. These skills ensure productivity, accountability, and seamless teamwork despite physical distance.

What are some common challenges faced when working in a remote 50-hour per week role, and how can they be managed?

Working remotely for 50 hours a week can present unique challenges, such as maintaining work-life balance, managing time effectively, and avoiding burnout. Since communication with colleagues and supervisors is primarily virtual, it's essential to proactively schedule check-ins and clarify expectations. Establishing a dedicated workspace, setting clear boundaries with household members, and taking regular breaks can help sustain productivity and well-being. Utilizing project management and collaboration tools also ensures that tasks are organized and team interactions remain seamless.

Job description

Location: 100% Remote  Work from home — no commute, no office
Schedule: Evenings & Weekends (detailed rotation below)
Job Type: Full-Time W-2 Employee
Base Pay: $36,000 / year + Full Benefits (see below)
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $129,000 + Uncapped Commission
Company: The Investor’s Edge

Hey there, sales rockstar!

We're looking for someone who loves the thrill of closing deals but also values having a life outside of work. Sound like you?

Here's the deal: The Investor's Edge has been helping people build wealth through real estate for 20 years, and we need another talented closer to join our evening/weekend team. Why evenings and weekends? Because that's when our hottest leads come through—people who are ready to invest and change their lives.

What's in it for you? You'll make real money. Like, $100K-$150K+ kind of money. We pay a $36K base (so you've got stability), then uncapped commissions on top. Our current team members consistently hit six figures, and the top performers are pushing $130K.

The coolest part? You work from home, and when you're not on a call, your time is YOUR time. Need to throw in laundry? Walk your dog? Make lunch? Go for it—just be ready to hop on a call within 5 minutes when one comes through.

You'd be perfect if you:

  • Have 2+ years crushing it in high-ticket phone sales
  • Know your way around a CRM
  • Can have real conversations with people (not just read scripts)
  • Actually care about helping people succeed

We'll give you full benefits, 401(k) matching, and all the training and support you need. Plus, you'll actually like the people you work with. (We've got the "Top Workplace" awards to prove our culture rocks.)

Hours:

Your Schedule (MST):

  • Mon–Thu: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Fri: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sat–Sun: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM  Directors rotate weekends, working two out of every three weekends to ensure balanced coverage.  If you work Sat and Sun you will have Mon and Tuesday off.
  • You’ll work a 5-day schedule, never more than five days in a row, with two consecutive days off each week.
  • You’ll keep your calendar open Nights and Weekends about 10 hours per day (around 50 hours per week) to allow for both pre-scheduled appointments and live-transfer calls.

You’ll typically have 25–35 hours of booked talk time per week, each pre scheduled set is 2-hour appointment blocks. This turns into  11-12 hours of Talk time for pre set. This does not include live transfers.

When not on a call, your time is flexible — you just need to stay reachable within 5 minutes during your shift for any incoming live transfer. You have to be ready for a video call to be on a live call in front of computer within 5 mins during set hours.

Interested? Let's talk!
